Hello everyone!! I’m Lauren, the Project Coordinator for this year! I’m a third year Psychology in Education student and spent last year being OM’s Secretary on the committee. This will be my third year volunteering for this amazing project and I can honestly say, OpenMinds has been the highlight of my time at university! The work this project achieves is incredible and you could not meet better friends along the way! I’m ecstatic to see what this year has in store!

Hi there! I’m Verity, a third-year Psychology student. I volunteered for OpenMinds last year, and wished to become more involved by becoming one of the school liaison officers for this year! My role as a school liaison officer involves maintaining good relationships with previously visited schools and establishing contact with potential new schools. I can’t wait to see what our team will achieve this year!

Hi, my name is Zoe, and I am a second year Psychology student. I volunteered for Open Minds last year, and was eager to get involved even more as I believe the work they do is very important for the community. Hopefully, through my role as Schools Liaison Officer, I can operate a healthy relationship with the schools throughout York to ensure that more students get the opportunity to learn the crucial information that Open Minds can offer.

Hi, I’m Milli and I am a 2nd year Psychology student. I will be starting my role as a facilitator this year! I feel very passionately about mental health and how it is perceived in society. I am very excited to educate students on mental health and hopefully make a positive change in the students lives as we spread awareness.
